A very beautiful Bosnian knife, etched with silver inlay on both the blade and the wooden hilt. It has an original brass scabbard and oxblood leather hanger. The silver koftgari on the blade  reads: Sarajevo, 1892 (both sides). The work is on this piece is outstanding, particularly the fine silver detail in the hilt. There are small losses to the inlay, but not enough to be detrimental to the piece. I’d say the inlay is about 95% present. This is a rare commemorative knife, handmade, from a 19th century master craftsman.
