A truly beautiful German rapier from the early 18th century. Elaborately chiseled on blade, cup, pommel and quillons. In addition, the blade is pierced and etched. In fine condition, the blade features an engraved cross. All elements of this rapier are present – it has the original wire grip, and all parts are original. This remains one of the most beautifully worked rapiers I have ever seen.
